It belonged to Nikitsyn Vasily Mikhailovich (1885-1943), a native of Nikitsy village, Pustozerskaya volost.
In the second half of the 20th century, men's costume changed under the influence of urban culture: frock coats, jackets, vests from factory-made fabrics became widespread.
In the summer of 1890 The Russian ethnographer Fyodor Mikhailovich Istomin wrote in his preliminary report, “… the usual summer suit of Pustozersk residents is all-Russian including a shirt, wide trousers and high boots, and I noticed more cleanliness and elegance among the residents of Pustozersk; more prosperous ones also wear vests and jackets in addition to the listed above ... ".
